Bluebell Railway - Sheffield Park Shed
1st January 2007 to 31st December 2009

Many of the Bluebell Railway's historic collection of engines are rarely photographed whilst out of service because lack of space and light makes it very difficult to take pictures inside Sheffield Park Shed. This collection attempts to provide some news and information about locomotives that are out of service, including those not currently stored in the shed (subject to the obvious photographic constraints). This collection includes photographs taken in the Atlantic Shed. It also features Sharpthorn and 4-COR 3142 at Horsted Keynes.

Visitors to the shed will know that it is very difficult to obtain satisfactory photographs in the area, and I apologise that I am not able to provide better images.

These images are **NOT** in date order. Pictures of individual engines are grouped together. Engines under overhaul have separate individual collections.

 A shunt in the shed allowed a rare opportunity for a picture of SR Schools Class, 928 Stowe. Sheffield Park 16.12.2007. A subsequent survey of this engine's condition is reported to have shown that it required quite extensive work. Since then it has sometimes been stored outside the shed, in positions remote from public view.

 92240 is on static display at Sheffield Park. This view was taken outside the shed on 16.10.2005. More recently it has unfortunately been stored remote from public view, which is a great shame for such a fine engine.
