A photographic tour of the Bluebell Railway - Horsted Keynes to Kingscote
2nd January 1998 to 31st December 2008

An opportunity to take a photographic tour along the Bluebell Railway from Horsted Keynes to Kingscote, featuring the stations, signals, signal boxes, and lineside views along the line. The photos in this collection date from the period 1998 to 2008.

A separate collection covers the section from Sheffield Park to Horsted Keynes (including Horsted Keynes Station).

Looking north from Horsted Keynes along the two reversible running lines that lead to Leamland Bridge.  The up siding (or headshunt) contains some of the expertly restored goods wagons, and behind them on the embankment the railway cottages associated with the station can be seen.  There is a similar group of cottages at Sheffield Park. 08.09.2007

Fenchurch passes the Up Advance Starters as it steams under Leamland Bridge with a train for Kingscote.  Reversible working applies on both lines in this area, evidenced by the Starting signals for both lines. 24.02.2007
