Bluebell Railway Built at Brighton 2008

26th April 2008 to 27th April 2008

The Bluebell Railway Built at Brighton Weekend was held on 26 and 27 April 2008 to say farewell to 55 Stepney and 32473 (Birch Grove) both of which are being withdrawn for overhaul.

Both locomotives were built at the Brighton Locomotive Works of the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway (LBSCR). All engines in use during the weekend were built at Brighton.

Stepney and Fenchurch haul the four-wheelers and Metropolitan coaches through West Hoathly. 26.04.2008	32473 leaves Kingscote with the goods train. 26.04.2008	Fenchurch and Stepney pass the Kingscote Advance Starter. 26.04.2008	32473 and 80151 double head south over Poleay Bridge. 26.04.2008
Stepney and Fenchurch steam north from Leamland Bridge. 26.04.2008	21C123 OVS Bulleid hauls the Golden Arrow north from West Hoathly tunnel. 26.04.2008	80151 steams south with a service train at West Hoathly. 26.04.2008	Fenchurch and Stepney pass the Kingscote fixed Distant signal. 26.04.2008
21C123 OVS Bulleid passes the Sheffield Park Inner Home bracket signal with a service train. 26.04.2008	Stepney and Fenchurch run round at Kingscote. 26.04.2008	The primroses are in full bloom as 80151 heads south towards Leamland Bridge. The flower display seems particularly good this year. 26.04.2008	The crew accept the single line token as 32473 heads south from Kingscote signal box. 26.04.2008
