Hill Place Farm accommodation bridge has been half buried for nearly 50 years, and it would be surprising if the excavation, consequential settlement, and changes in drainage conditions did not cause some movement. There is an obvious crack in the northern parapet and markers have been installed to allow it to be monitored. This is the eastern end of the bridge. 20.12.2008Previous | NextThe western end of the northern parapet of Hill Place Farm accommodation bridge has an equivalent crack, and it can be seen that the level has dropped. The land on and around this bridge is currently a quagmire. As the ground dries out in the summer months there may be further changes. 20.12.2008
